Terms of use for Questlowe

Plain terms for a free site. The short version: you must be 18 or over, nothing here involves real money, and glints are worth nothing outside the games.

1. Who we are

Questlowe (“we”, “us”) runs the website at questlowe.co.uk. You can reach us at hello@questlowe.co.uk. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site.

2. Adults only

The site is for people aged 18 or over in the United Kingdom. By answering the age question you confirm that you are 18 or over. If you are not, please leave the site. We may ask the question again at any time.

3. Entertainment only, no real money

Every game on Questlowe is for entertainment only. There is no real money play. You cannot deposit, stake or withdraw money, and there are no prizes of monetary value or of any other value.

Glints are points used inside the games and carry no cash value. Nobody can buy, sell, swap, transfer, gift or redeem them for money, goods, services or anything else, here or elsewhere. There are no in-app purchases and nothing on the site is for sale.

4. How the games work

Results come from the random number source built into your browser. Each round is independent of every other round. The rules and pay tables shown on each game page are the rules the game uses. Over a long run every game returns fewer glints than are staked. Playing or success in these games does not imply future success at real-money gambling.

Free top-ups bring your glints back to the starting amount whenever you run low. We may change the games, their rules or the starting amount at any time; we will update the rules on the game pages when we do.

5. Your data stays with you

Your glints, quest log and settings are stored in your own browser, as described in the cookie and storage notice. Clearing your browser data, using a private window or choosing Reject on the storage banner will remove them. We cannot restore them because we never receive them.

6. Responsible play

The tools on Responsible Play (reality checks, visit limits, pauses and calm mode) work only in the browser where you set them. Please use them, and please contact a support service if playing ever stops being fun. A pause of an hour or longer cannot be ended early in that browser.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload or scrape the site, and do not use it for anything unlawful. Sharing links to any page is welcome.

8. Our content

The games, their names, the artwork and the text on Questlowe are ours. The Games hub describes games made by other people; their names belong to their makers and we link to their official sites without any connection to them.

9. Availability and liability

We provide the site as it is and may change or withdraw parts of it at any time. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Because the site is free and holds nothing of value, we are not responsible for lost glints, ranks or settings.

10. Changes and law

These terms may change; the “Last updated” line above dates the current text. English and Welsh law governs them, and residents of Scotland or Northern Ireland may also go to their own courts.
