Cookies and local storage on Questlowe
No cookies, no trackers. Here is every item the site keeps in your browser and why.
1. No cookies
Questlowe sets no cookies, first-party or third-party. There are no adverts, analytics, social media buttons, embedded videos or tracking pixels, and the site loads no files from any other website.
2. Local storage instead
To remember your glints and settings, the site uses your browser's local storage (kept until you clear it) and session storage (cleared when you close the tab). Nothing stored there is sent to us.
3. Always kept on this device
These three items are needed for the site to work responsibly, so they are kept in local storage whatever you choose:

4. Kept only if you accept
If you press Accept, these are kept in local storage between visits. If you press Reject, they are kept in session storage and cleared when you close the tab:

5. Always session only
qlw.visit holds the current visit: when it started, rounds, glints staked and back, and the last eight rounds. It is cleared when you close the tab and powers the reality check and visit limits.
6. Changing your mind
The footer of every page has a Change storage choice button. Switching from Accept to Reject moves your pack to the current tab and removes it from local storage. Forget everything on Responsible Play removes glints, log and settings at once. Clearing your browser's site data removes everything.
