About Questlowe
Questlowe is a small, independent games site. We design casino-style games that are fun to play for a few minutes and impossible to spend money on, and we write an honest guide to ordinary browser games we like.
The name
A lowe is an old English word for a hill or a burial mound, the kind you still see on Ordnance Survey maps. A quest to the lowe is a walk with a clear end: you climb, you look around, you come back down. That is how we would like an evening here to feel.
What we make
Six games, built from scratch: two honeycombs where touching groups pay, a road of reels that grows while it pays, a brass orrery of three rings, a set of poker dice and a one-card duel. We tuned the maths of each by simulating millions of rounds, and we print the full pay table on every game page. The games are played for glints, which have no cash value and cannot be bought.
What we leave out
- No real money play and no prizes of monetary value.
- No shop, no in-app purchases and no paid extras of any kind.
- No accounts, adverts, cookies or trackers.
- No timed rewards, countdowns, streaks or messages asking you back.
- No other players and no invented players; the quest log only ever shows you.
Why a Games hub?
Because not every evening should be spent on games of chance, even free ones. The Games hub points to eight browser games with no gambling in them at all: logic puzzles, crosswords, maps, a flight simulator, go and a story game. We are not paid for any of those links.
Who it is for
Adults aged 18 or over in the United Kingdom. Playing or success in these games does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
